Enjoy reminiscing!

Started the year with my cutie patootie baby cousin, Yuma! Her mom and him spent their New year here in the Philippines, it was his first time and he cried with matching Japanese words because of the fireworks/firecrackers in every corner. -January

Infinite moments of 2012. Thank you Lord for another year well spent with the ones I love most. It is in the right time that we experience the right one for us. 12 months again has passed and I felt nothing, nothing but rush moments of pleasure. Bountiful beauty of life.

Happy 20th To Me!

And the vacation got so very special because I celebrated my 20th birthday in Boracay with my extended family.

I slept early May 17th and I was not able to wait until midnight just to greet myself. Heh! So we all woke up early for the island hopping..everyone were so not in their state of mind until Tita Glad’s said, “Ay, ate Happy Birthday!” then everyone greeted me.

Yes!

So the highlights of my special day were…

Note: There are lot of pictures of the beautiful places. Can’t control myself not to take shots of the nicest things/places in Boracay.

It’s More Fun In Boracay!

I really want to share how great my summer was this year. Honestly, it was the best summer I had ever in my life except the fact that my parents were not there.

This summer getaway was planned last year November/December i think. So the first plan was all of us my fam (the four of us) and the fam of Tita glad’s. But it turned out the other way around. Luckily, catris and me was able to join the vacation.

I was not able to share to you how busy I am with the interviews I got and I was too hesitant and confused if I can have that summer vacation. I was eager to have a job because of my college friends working already. They started working a week after our graduation. But they were not able to enjoy the last vacation they could ever have.

Luckily, my decisions and fate intertwined. Yes. I was there. The ticket booked to my name was used!

That summer vacay was great!

As we planned before, the dates would be Mid-May. April came, Tito Do passed away, plans were almost cancelled but in the end the vacay occurred.

Thank You Lord for guiding us all throughout the short vacation we had. All were safe and happy.

Here are the great captured moments of us..

Day one turned out so well, tiring, FUN!

Truly A Splash Experience!

Last May 12, 2012 my college friends (Eds, Jekka, Oliver and Vina) and I went to SPLASH ISLAND, Laguna. It was planned by Obey and Eds since the Quezon Trip was not a success because of the hectic scheds our other classmate have now. How lucky I am my parent allowed me to come with my friends.

I was excited with this outing though knowing before this happened that we would be few. It was my first time to have a SPLASH experience.

And I was FORCED. Forced to a have a SPLASH experience, the one that stole one’s heart. Maybe the reaction was over reacted by me, but it was too scary and heart-getter. All the slides. It was not all swimming moments but the Splash Island is more on adventure. So go on there if you are ready with the dying experience.

This college I was able to face some of my fears and sliding alone is one listed on the list. Thank God He guided me while I was there sliding, seeing SLEX and the heaven.

Just what I said to Eds, I never thought I can, but thank God also I did, I surpassed the slides.

I am more afraid of slides than roller coasters. #fact

Check out our great happy captured moments!

Welcome to Splash Island! (Jeks,Vin,Me)

Candid shot with BFF. Hihi.

The bench bodies!!

Our Kubo Cottage!

With Charles at Gateway, we decided to watch a movie right after swimming but we was not able to catch the time so we just meet up with Charles there at Gateway. He was not able to be with us because of the pimples at his back. :(

I want to thank my new friends, opps my friends that I have dealt with just the last days of school. How sad I knew them just almost the end of college days. But I know the friendship will stay until the end.

Thank you, SPLASH FRIENDS!

The Next Big Thing.

Sorry for posting this too late. I should have post this right after this happened. But it’s never too late I guess?

How lucky we were because PNOY was there and I was seating at the front seat and I was able to see his face so clear. And all throughout the event was great because me and my seatmates were able to focused with the whole commencement exercise.

So here I am I opened my planner slash diary to remember what happened that day.

Picture of myself all throughout the graduation. :) and also a shot with the family.

Pictures with my special friend this college! Cool friends I ever had.

His excellency President Benigno Aquino, Jr.

A very inspiring speaker and person, Maria Ressa. One of the best Filipino journalists and maker of rappler.com (If I am not mistaken)

Some of the important persons in my life. Had a blast graduation celebration at Venice Piazza, Mckinley Hills in Taguig.

The sweet surprise of flowers and the expensive chocolates from the kids.

Here are some of the inspiring statements I remembered from the graduation rites..

“Bakit ang simple ginagawang komplikado?” and ”Mali yung tama kung minsan, mali kung minsan.”-PNoy

The lessons I gained from Maria Ressa:

  1. Choose to learn
  2. Embrace your fears
  3. Have the courage to say “no”

To End April With A Smile!

What happened with my April 2012?

SO here are the following exceptional events that happened that I saw in my planner:

I declined a good interview offer due to the Graduation practices upcoming way back then.

  • Hunger Games books
  • Eds, Tito Do and Mommy Birthdays!
  • Holy Week in Pasig
  • Graduation Day (Manila Hotel)
  • Certified BookKeeper Review and Exams
  • BattleShip and The Avengers
  • Pat in Canada
  • Tito Do in Heaven
  • Lovely Month

It was a fun-filled/surprising/unexpected moments I experienced.

I was glad that I finally finished my studies but I am really looking forward for a better career, a better life. Now I am turning 20, I know I should act professionally and way much better than today. At this point of my life, I feel so old. Not because of I will be soon in my twenties but because I can see what a real life is. A life that I am going to live in. I am not ready, yet.

Not ready to commit, to give what they expect.

I need to promise to myself that this is not the life I should give to my future family. Something better than this.

April 2012, made me realize many things. That, people change. Look, I am happy right now that things turned out the way I wanted to be. But, what I feel now is not what I felt before. I want this. I want to love again. Just love. I really really do.

Second realization. That precious ones are taken in a glimpse. How sad and unexpected it was that someone like my Tito Do will be gone with no signs and all.

Again, we need to be ready. Despite the fact that many things scare us.

I need to be ready though I am afraid of it.

Maybe that is what this month tells me: BE READY!

What do I expect this May?

A WORK!  simple like that. I want to start a good career.

Bye, APRIL. Hello, MAY!

It’s your day, MONJIMONJI!
